I provide holistic and individualized postpartum support rooted in traditional East Asian and Ayurvedic medicine.

I am a postpartum doula and fertility/pregnancy support professional in Ballard, WA. I am pleased to offer Ayurvedic and East Asian Medicine services for birthing and postpartum people who would like holistic support through their pregnancy and postpartum experience. My practice is rooted in elements and natural rhythms, allowing me to meet you where you are and support you by encouraging balance and healing through lifestyle and dietary advice, and Ayurvedic and East Asian Medicine practices.

Ayurveda is the science of life in ancient Indian medicine. It observes natural groupings of qualities, doshas, that both make up individual constitution and illness. I work with your present dosa and offer simple and actualizable ways to help you build and rebuild at any stage.

East Asian Medicine principles help to encourage natural flow and circulation in the body. Techniques can encourage fertility if you are trying to conceive, maintaining a healthy pregnancy and reducing symptoms such as morning sickness and edema, encouraging labor and reducing pain during labor, and encouraging healthy postpartum time such as rebuilding blood, supporting lactation and reducing musculoskeletal pain. Please note at this time I am completing my masters and can see you in clinic under supervision or refer you to appropriate practitioners.

Personal Background

I grew up on a small-scale biodynamic farm where I experienced the deep healing of homegrown and cooked foods in chorus with the seasons. In city hopping post undergrad, I kept my ties by tending my own garden and working with farmers to sell fresh produce, seeds and tinctures at my local farmer’s markets. I believe regional and seasonal foods free from pesticides are a birthright and I seek to reimagine food relationships as the medicine in your reproductive journey. My other great love is water; I kayak, paint and live with my partner on our 38 foot sailboat in Ballard, WA. She is buoyant, constant and ever transforming. My inspiration in this life
